The Harmonettes are a unique performing group that loves to sing, play the handbells and even the boomwhackers. The Harmonettes were once two separate groups with a Vocal choir and a Handbell Choir. The Harmonettes handbell choir used a special lighting system to produce beautiful melodies and harmonies that ring the tunes of church and popular music. Currently the lighting system designed by Ed & Chesley Mercado is being patented. In the meantime the choir is utilizing more non traditional methods for creating melodies.  The Harmonettes have performed throughout Georgia and the Southeast US for civic groups, conferences and churches since 2000.
